Fri Jul 12 2024	FRIDAY Pep Rally & Team Dinner - Annual Talent Show Mohican - Main Pavilion Start: 5:30 PM End: 7:30 PM (estimated) Join us on the back pool deck this Friday for our very last pep rally dinner and ANNUAL Talent Show! The Talent Show is a fun way for the kids to perform any act as an individual or group. This is one of our favorite Mohican traditions, and we look forward to seeing all of the performances.
Wed Jul 10 2024	B Meet @ Bannockburn Bannockburn Swim Club, 6513 Laverock Lane, Bethesda, MD 20817 Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 5:30 PM End: 8:30 PM Please indicate your swimmer(s) interest in swimming in our B meet @ Bannockburn. Note that B meets are not open to pre-team swimmers. Meet is open for entries. Entries are due on MONDAY 7/8 @ 7pm. If you are uncertain about events, please email [email protected] prior to selecting. Sign up guidelines: The maximum number of events any one swimmer can swim in a meet is three individual stroke events (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly) plus the individual medley (IM) for a total of four events. Swimmers who earned points (placed 1st – 5th) at the A meet the week immediately before are NOT eligible to swim in that event in the next B meet. (A meet swimmers who did not place or did not swim in a given event in the A meet can swim that event.) 10 and under swimmers who are attempting the IM for the first time require coaches' approval before signing up for this event. Mohican Warm Ups: 5:20 - 5:40 pm 5:45 pm - Officials and Timers Meeting 6 pm - Meet Start Location/Parking: Bannockburn Pool is located at 6513 Laverock Lane, Bethesda, MD. Bannockburn has a small parking lot. Visitors can find street parking on any adjoining streets, Laverock Ln, Bannockburn Drive, W. Halbert Road, etc. Please be careful not to block driveways. Theme: Rolling Thunder! Think USA-Patriotic-Biker... American flags, tattoos, leather, and beards! Dinner / Concessions: Rocklands Food Truck will be on-site from 5-8pm
Mon Jul 8 2024	Capture The Flag Game! The Biesinger's Home, 5824 Rockmere Drive, Bethesda MD 20816 Start: 6:00 PM End: 8:00 PM What: Capture the Flag event with pizza and drinks served. Hosted by the Mohican coaches. When: Monday, July 8, 6-8PM*. If we have bad weather, we will postpone. Where: 5825 Rockmere Drive. Please enter the backyard directly from the driveway on the side of the house (driveway is on Rockmere Dr.) Do NOT go to the front door. Logistics details: Swim Team members will meet at the Biesinger home for pizza and drinks prior to walking over to the Sangamore Local Park (behind Waldorf School) to play Capture the Flag. The field is reserved for Mohican so all will walk over around 6:45. Swimmers will play for about 1 hour then walk back to the house for pick-up between 7:50-8.:10 Who: Mohican Swim Team members. Parents, please consider the level of supervision your child requires to participate safely in this activity: no one-on-one supervision is possible and the game will be played with mixed ages. Sun Jul 7 2024	DIVISION C Relay Carnival Mill Creek Towne Pool, 7285 Mill Run Drive, Derwood, MD 20855 Start: 9:00 AM Warm-up: 8:15 AM End: 11:30 AM DIVISION C RELAY CARNIVAL @ Mill Creek Towne Address and Directions: Mill Creek Towne Pool. The pool address is 7285 Mill Run Dr. Derwood MD 20855 (Located on the corner of Shady Grove Rd and Mill Run Dr). Arrival Time: Meet up at the Mill Creek Towne Pool parking lot at 7:55 AM for team photos. Parking: There is NO on-street parking. Park in the lot or on the grassy area surrounding the pool fence. Please do not park in reserved parking or block the ambulance arrival area which will be marked off with cones. Once the parking lot is full, please park at Mill Creek Towne Elementary and walk through the tunnel under Shady Grove Rd. Team area: We are in Team Area 5. Concessions/Hospitality: Concessions will have an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, bagels, drinks and more. Bring cash or credit cards ($5 minimum). Please remember to bring lots of water. The pool water fountain is small and does not provide chilled water. We'll be celebrating our graduating senior(s) during the meet halftime. Mark your swimmer as "available for" or "not available for" ASAP. Coaches will notify all swimmers about qualification and eligibility for the A Meet Roster. Volunteers: If you need to change your volunteer role, please do so BEFORE 8:30pm FRIDAY July 5th. Email [email protected] if you have any changes after this deadline. Thanks! Theme: Rolling Thunder Warm-ups: Arrive on deck at Mohican and be ready to warm-up by 7:40 AM. Parking: The Mohican parking lot will be reserved for GLENWOOD team members ONLY. Food: Breakfast sandwiches plus additional light concession options include muffin, bagels, coffee, fruit for sale; Mohican team pays through their pool account. Team Lunch: All team members are encouraged to join us for lunch & ribbon distribution immediately following the meet at the back pavilion (approximately 11:30am). We will be grilling burgers, veggie burgers, and hot dogs. Lunch can be purchased on your pool account, $10 for adults, $5 for kids.
Fri Jul 5 2024	FRIDAY Pep Rally & Team Dinner - Taco Night and Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament (hosted by 8u boys and 13-14 swim girls & boys swim and dive) Mohican - Main Pavilion Start: 5:30 PM End: 7:30 PM (estimated) The Friday, July 5th Pep Rally dinner is hosted by families of 8u boys and 13-14 girls and boys swimmers and divers. Sign-up to help if you have a swimmer or diver in the age group! DINNER: The menu for the night includes taco meat (beef & turkey), rice, black beans, sauteed peppers and onions, tortillas (corn & flour), all the toppings (lettuce, cheese, sour cream, salsa) and dessert. Meal prices are: Adults ($10), Children 11 & Up ($10), Children 10 & Under ($5), and Adult Beverages ($4). Payment is onsite through your Mohican account. As another option, please feel free to bring food from home and eat with the team. Adult beverages for sale on Mohican account. Team Activity: Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament

Think neon colors, tank tops, legwarmers, spandex, and more. Dinner/Concessions: The Little Falls grill will sell burgers, cheeseburgers, hotdogs, snacks, etc. Cash, Venmo or Square accepted (no Apple Pay).

Sign-up to help if you have a swimmer or diver in the age group! DINNER: The menu for the night includes Pull Pork, Baked Bean, Corn on the Cob, Cole Slaw, and Dessert. Meal prices are: Adults ($10), Children 11 & Up ($10), Children 10 & Under ($5), and Adult Beverages ($4). Payment is onsite through your Mohican account.
