Sign-up guidelines: - Time trials are open to regular swim team swimmers only. Pre-team swimmers should not swim in time trials. - Swimmers can swim up to four stroke events (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly) as well as the Individual Medley (IM). - 9-12 swimmers should swim all stroke events in time trials and the IM if recommended by the coach (9-10 wishing to swim the IM should ask the coach before signing up for this event.) - 8 & Under swimmers should sign up to swim all four strokes and the coaches will adjust if they feel a swimmer is not ready in a particular event. (8 & under swimmers wishing to swim the IM should ask a coach before signing up for this event.) Any general questions about time trials - ask any swim rep or coach. Any question about what to swim - email [email protected]! You can also leave a note for the coach when you sign up. Food: No concessions will be available. Please bring any snacks and drinks you need during the meet. |

Pre-Season Evaluations: All NEW 8 and under (8U) swimmers must undergo an in-water coach evaluation to determine placement on either the PRE-TEAM or COMPETITIVE TEAM. If your swimmer is 8 years old or younger and has never participated on Mohican pre-team or swim team or participated only on Mohican pre-team, your swimmer MUST attend a SWIM EVALUATION PRIOR TO registration. CALLING ALL PRE TEAM SWIMMERS! Come celebrate the end of the season with some BIG swims across the pool and some fun with the Coaches. Participants will receive a Pre Team Certificate and treats. Please RSVP only for kids who will be SWIMMING. Siblings not swimming and adults do not need to RSVP. MCPS SSL Hours awarded for MS/HS Students serving as timers, awards table, etc. Swimmer and Volunteer Arrival Time: 4:00pm Meet Start: 4:15pm Meet Format: We will be running open, timed heats of 25 Free. Other heats will include kick board races and races with coaches. |

Please join us for a casual, mix-and-mingle parent social hosted at the Andrews’s home. Snacks and beverages will be served. Please bring your favorite adult beverage to enjoy and/or share! Also, there is a pool and hot tub, so feel free to bring your suits and towels if you are interested in a dip or a float! Warm-ups: Instead of meeting at Mohican and driving over together, we will be meeting up at Clarksburg Village's parking lot for team photos before warm-ups. Please plan to arrive at Clarksburg Village's pool parking lot in front of the pool entrance by 8:00 AM. Warm-up begin promptly at 8:25 am. Parking: Parking is available both in the pool parking lot and directly across the street at Wilson Wims Elementary School. Theme: Men in Black! Clarksburg Village does not allow the use of body paint, hair paint, or dye in their pool. Concessions: Concessions will be available for purchase. Menu options include: breakfast sandwiches from Chick-fil-A, bagels, donuts and fruit. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Team Lunch: We will have a team lunch offsite at a nearby restaurant. Location will be announced at the meet. |
