Pre-Season Evaluations: All NEW 8 and under (8U) swimmers must undergo an in-water coach evaluation to determine placement on either the PRE-TEAM or COMPETITIVE TEAM. This includes any 8U swimmer who was not on the team last season, including swimmers on the pre-team last season. Additional information regarding pre-season evaluations can be found here. Franklin Avenue, Silver Spring MD 20901 MEET at Franklin Knolls Pool at 6:50am (see note about swimmer drop off and parking below) THEME: Masquerade Ball WARM UP: 7:05-7:20am ***All meetings will take place at the umbrella tables in front of the pool house*** Lead Officials Meeting: 7:10am (including HT/Assistant HT) S/T/TOJ Briefing: 7:15am Timer/Runner Briefing: 7:30am Scratch Meeting: 7:40am Coaches, Reps, Clerks Meet Start: 8am Concessions: Breakfast sandwiches, coffee, etc. CASH ONLY TEAM Seating: Bring Chairs and Tents for swimmers (Area 1 above the pool deck; next to concessions) Spectator Seating: Limited, but available around the pool deck in designated areas Concessions: Breakfast sandwiches, coffee, etc. CASH ONLY *PARKING in the lot is restricted* Street parking is limited and first come, first served. If you block residential driveways, park illegally in restricted areas, you will be towed. OVERFLOW lot is at Eastern Middle school approximately .5mile away (7 min walk). Our host, Franklin Knolls, is recommending carpooling and swimmer drop off at the pool. |

CALLING ALL PRE TEAM SWIMMERS! Come celebrate the end of the season with some BIG swims across the pool and some fun with the Coaches. Participants will receive a Pre Team Certificate and treats. Please RSVP only for kids who will be SWIMMING. Siblings not swimming and adults do not need to RSVP. MCPS SSL Hours awarded for MS/HS Students serving as timers, awards table, runners, etc. SWIMMER and VOLUNTEER TIMER ARRIVAL: 4:00pm Meet STARTS: 4:15pm MEET FORMAT: We will be running open, timed heats of 25 Free. Other heats will include kick board races and races with coaches. |
