Wed Jul 12 2023	Pre Team Mini Meet Mohican Start: 4:00 PM End: 5:00 PM (estimated) CALLING ALL PRE TEAM SWIMMERS! Come celebrate the end of the season with some BIG swims across the pool and some fun with the Coaches. Participants will receive a Pre Team Certificate and treats. *Please RSVP only for kids who will be SWIMMING.* Siblings not swimming and adults do not need to RSVP. MCPS SSL Hours awarded for MS/HS Students serving as timers, awards table, etc. SWIMMER and VOLUNTEER TIMER ARRIVAL: 4:00pm Meet STARTS: 4:15pm MEET FORMAT: We will be running open, timed heats of 25 Free. Other heats will include kick board races and races with coaches.

Sun Jul 9 2023	DIVISION C Relay Carnival Damascus Pool and Swim Club, 25730 Woodfield Rd, Damascus, MD 20872 Start: 8:00 AM End: 11:30 AM (estimated) MCSL RELAY CARNIVAL @ DAMASCUS WARM-UPS: We will meet at Mohican’s parking lot for team photos at 7:20 AM before driving to Damascus. ADDRESS & PARKING: Damascus Pool & Swim Club, 25730 Woodfield Road, Damascus MD THEME: Zombies CONCESSIONS: Breakfast foods and coffee (early morning); grilled hamburgers and hot dogs (late morning); Snacks (throughout the meet). Cash is preferred in small bills. Also accepts credit cards and Apple Pay. DONATIONS: Damascus is holding their annual Dolphins Give Back food drive and will be collecting canned/packaged goods to benefit Damascus Help Food Bank. Please bring a canned or packaged good to donate. Collection tables will be set up in the breezeway as you enter the pool. TEAM LUNCH: We will have a team lunch offsite at a nearby restaurant. Location will be announced at the meet. THINGS TO REMEMBER TO BRING: Please remember to bring the following for your swimmer: Camping Chairs: Please remember to bring one for your swimmer. Sat Jul 8 2023	A Meet Mohican v Franklin Knolls Mohican Start: 9:00 AM Warm-up: 8:00 AM End: 11:30 AM (estimated) Senior Send-off Meet! We'll be celebrating our graduating senior(s) during the meet halftime. VOLUNTEERS: If you need to change your volunteer role, please do so BEFORE 8:30pm FRIDAY JULY 7th. Email [email protected] if you have any changes after this deadline. WARM-UPS: Arrive on deck at Mohican and be ready to swim by 7:40 AM. NO PARKING IN THE MOHICAN LOT. The lot is reserved for the visiting team, ONLY. Park along MacArthur Blvd or carpool. Please do not enter the lot to drop off swimmers. Please use the crosswalk. THEME: 80s Work-out CONCESSIONS: Our concessions stand will have breakfast snacks (e.g. bagels, muffins, bars, fruit), coffee and beverages available for purchase onsite (through your Mohican account) at the meet. TEAM LUNCH: Our team lunch will be held at the back pavilion. Options will include grilled hamburgers, veggie burgers and hotdogs. Payment will be onsite through your Mohican account. Fri Jul 7 2023	FRIDAY Pep Rally & Team Dinner - Pulled Pork and Rock/Paper/Scissors Tournament (hosted by 9-10 swim and dive) Mohican Pavilion Start: 5:30 PM End: 7:30 PM The Friday, July 7th Pep Rally dinner is hosted by families of 9-10 swimmers and divers. Sign-up to help if you have a swimmer or diver in the 9-10 age group! DINNER: The menu for the night includes pulled pork, corn on the cob, baked beans, coleslaw and dessert. Meal prices are: Adults ($10), Children 11 & Up ($10), Children 10 & Under ($5), and Adult Beverages ($4). Payment is onsite through your Mohican account. As another option, please feel free to bring food from home and eat with the team. ACTIVITY: Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament!
Wed Jul 5 2023	B Meet v Little Falls Mohican Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 5:00 PM End: 8:30 PM (estimated) Please indicate your swimmer(s) interest in swimming in our B meet vs. Little Falls. Note that B meets are not open to pre-team swimmers. Entries are due on MONDAY 7/3 @ 7pm. If you are uncertain about events, speak with Assistant Coach Tess prior to selecting. Sign up guidelines: The maximum number of events any one swimmer can swim in a meet is three individual stroke events (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly) plus the individual medley (IM) for a total of four events. Swimmers who earned points (placed 1st – 5th) at the A meet the week immediately before are NOT eligible to swim in that event in the next B meet. (A meet swimmers who did not place or did not swim in a given event in the A meet can swim that event.) 10 and under swimmers who are attempting the IM for the first time require coaches' approval before signing up for this event. Parking: This meet is during MacArthur rush hour. Please plan accordingly by carpooling or walking to the pool. Parking will be reserved for LITTLE FALLS team members ONLY. Warm Ups: All swimmers should be on deck, ready to warm-up by 5:00pm. Theme: USA Food: Place your Potomac Pizza and Salad order online by Tuesday, July 4 @ 10:00pm. ADDRESS & PARKING: 8650 Bells Mill Road, Potomac, Maryland 20854. TallyHo’s parking lot is reserved for Mohican families. THEME: Fourth of July! Dress up in your favorite Red, White & Blue outfits! CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available for purchase. Menu options include: breakfast sandwiches from Chick-fil-A, bagels, donuts and fruit. Cash and Venmo are accepted. DINNER: The menu for the night includes taco meat (beef & turkey), rice, black beans, sauteed peppers and onions, tortillas (corn & flour), all the toppings (lettuce, cheese, sour cream, salsa) and dessert. Meal prices are: Adults ($10), Children 11 & Up ($10), Children 10 & Under ($5), and Adult Beverages ($4). Payment is onsite through your Mohican account. As another option, please feel free to bring food from home and eat with the team. ACTIVITY: Cake Decorating!

Mohican coaches will host this fun team event on Thursday, June 29th from 6:20-8:20. Please drop off and pick up at the Biesinger's house, 5825 Rockmere Drive. The team will eat dinner (Ledo's pizza) first and then coaches will walk the group up to the Waldorf fields for a friendly game of Capture the Flag. Please RSVP in advance. Bring cash or Venmo Lisa Biesinger $7 for dinner (@Lisa-Biesinger), cost includes pizza and beverage.

Note that B meets are not open to pre-team swimmers. Meet is open for entries. Entries are due on MONDAY 6/26 @ 7pm. If you are uncertain about events, speak with Assistant Coach Tess prior to selecting. Theme: FOOD Parking: Large lot and ample street parking Schedule: 5-5:20 pm: Volunteer Check-In 5:20 pm: Mohican Warm-Ups 5:50 pm: First events line-up 6:00 pm: Meet begins Mohican Team Area: Our team area will be to the right of the entrance, near the diving well. There are tables with umbrellas and shady areas. Dinner: The food vendor will have sandwiches, snacks/chips, drinks, and cookies and pastries. Credit cards preferred.
